Clear the PREFETCH Cache

First you have to know what is Prefetch Cache? Prefetch cache in windows contains files with .pf extension. They occupy memory in the system and also decrease the performance of the PC. How to clear the prefetch cache?

Follow these steps to clear the prefetch cache: -

• Go to RUN by typing START+R.
• Type prefetch and then click OK.
• The prefetch window explorer open.
• Select all files by typing CTRL+A and then click SHIFT+DELETE(For Permanent Delete)
• Cache is cleared.
